Issuance of documents and regalia

The following instruments are issued by the Registrar on application. Issuance fees are set annually by the Ministry of the Interior and cover manufacture, inspection and despatch. Fees are stated in units of account (¤), with the equivalent in United States dollars at the parity fixed by Decree 118 of 2025, and are not a tax. Items marked as suspended are withdrawn pending re-manufacture.

Documents and regalia issued by the Office of the Registrar are commemorative. The passport booklet is not a travel document and must not be presented to any border authority, airline, bank or public official as evidence of identity or nationality. Presentation of a commemorative document as an official one is a matter for the law of the jurisdiction concerned and the Republic accepts no liability arising from it.
